On October 2, 2005, I said four words that would change my life forever: "I need a miracle." That day I heard a clear message from my spirit: —"Get clean, and you will live a life beyond your wildest dreams." This was the moment when I made the choice to get sober from drugs and alcohol. In this episode of Dear Gabby I share my spiritual path to recovery. Plus my sober brother George Resch — AKA internet sensation “Tank Sinatra” — joined me in our Big Talk. We offer a compassionate look at what makes us use, and actionable tips for recovery. If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, this Dear Gabby episode is for you.
George Resch, AKA “Tank Sinatra,” is a true internet sensation. Through his Instagram accounts Tank Sinatra, Tanks Good News, and Influencers in the Wild, — which turned into a fun board game — he takes people out of their heads and into their hearts. (And no one’s feed makes me laugh louder.) He’s also a proudly sober dad, friend, and husband who’s deeply committed to guiding others on the road to recovery. He’s just the most beautiful soul, and I’m honored to share him with you today.
